I liked your story...liked your descriptions, and how horrid/wonderful it was. I had natural childbirth as well (Though there was pitocin involved, so I DID have a needle in my arm the whole time, limiting my movement...), and JEEZ it hurt. HURT HURT HURT. Your story brought a lot of that back to me. And the absolute joy when my daughter was out. :) And the immediate end of pain.

Oh..yeah, I had a midwife, too. :) I HIGHLY recommend them if you can get one with your insurance, anyone out there who's thinking about it...

I wrote my daughter's birth story here, too. Maya Amrita. :)

I just googled "Sadie Grace," the name we are planning on giving our soon-to-be-born second child if she is a "she," and happened upon your birth story. I haven't laughed like that for a while--it brought back memories of our first natural birth and you gave a perfect description of what my labor was like. I can't wait to tell my husband about the trolls! What a beautiful birth story, and what a beautiful name for a little girl!
